What if we were to build lives the way we build buildings? Buildings are built only after a thorough blueprint has been created. The blueprint has taken into account all of the structural engineering, building codes, safety measures, beauty of design, and proper site layout before the first brick is laid. Without a well thought out blueprint, skyscrapers, mansions, and beautiful buildings would be non-existant, and mud huts, adobe buildings and structures pieced together like Frankenstein would be the norm.
Building a human life is not all that different than building a physical structure. Foundations, load carrying walls, a roof and other elements of functionality and beauty all have their place. The Bible is our blueprint for a successful, meaningful and powerful life. All too many people live without a plan or purpose for living, and instead simply piece together their life with what feels right for the moment.
As a Master Architect, God has a beautiful custom design for your life. Being "Christian" does not mean you are a mass produced cookie cutout without individuality or personality. Just as every fingerprint is unique, so also are you.
